Contact: Toni Brown (215) 735-7775
Project SELF is a school-to-work transition program for high-school students with physical and sensory disabilities. SELF is designed to increase the probability that teens with disabilities will successfully transition from school to work and/or college. The goal of this program is to provide the participant with the tools to become self-reliant, confident, and productive adults. This is accomplished by 12 hours of work readiness and life skills training; placements in meaningful, paid, summer work experience and matching with a mentor with interest and experience in the participant’s vocational or academic area of choice.
