| DHS Support Centers >  Prevention >  Client Services > Delinquency Preventi... DCBPS offers a range of services designed to address the underlying issues that often lead to delinquency. Delinquency Prevention Programs include: Intensive Delinquency Prevention Programs, which seek to address the service needs of chronically-truant, first-time offending youth with minor charges, but who have not been formally adjudicated in Family Court, and other youth at highest risk for delinquency as identified by DHS. Reasonable Efforts in Assessment Access and Prevention (REAAP), which provides client assessment, case management, consistent monitoring to families whose children are exhibiting behavior that is out of the parent's control or placing the child. Re-entry Transition Initiative-Welcome Return Assessment Process ( RETI-WRAP), which provides transitional support to youth returning to the public school system from residential delinquent placement. The Institute for Higher Learning, which is an alternative education program for youth age 14-21 at high risk for delinquency, who have dropped out of school or are not thriving in alternative settings. |
