What We Offer

The Policy and Planning Support Center is both an intranet resource and a team of staff members that are available to:

• Develop DHS policy and procedure manuals

• Update program and service-specific policies and procedures

• Faciliate external relationships with the state, providers, county children and youth agencies, etc.

• Provide legislative advocacy in conjunction with the Law Department

• Participate in licensing reviews and compliance audits

• Participate in resource/new program development

• Complete and coordinate agency documents including the Needs Based Plan and Budget, the annual City Council Budget Testimony, the Five Year Plan, the Annual Inspection Plan of Correction, and the CFSR Program Improvement Plan

• Manage and facilitate the Blueprint for Excellence

• Participate in other special projects and initiatives
