to the DHS Support Centers
The goals of these new Support Centers are to provide you with:
- Immediate information and linkages to area resources
- Support in navigating complex systems and services
- Advocacy with systems when possible

Policy and Planning-
Informs staff of DHS policies, procedures, and related practice information |
Behavioral Health and Wellness-
Assists staff in navigating Philadelphia’s complex Behavioral Health Services system |
Prevention-
Provides staff with information about and access to a wide range of services designed to extend a helping hand to families at-risk for involvement in the child welfare or juvenile justice systems. |
Workforce Development-
Provides information to DHS staff about education, training and employment opportunities for Philadelphia residents |
Quality Assurance-
Provides information about outcomes data and reports, state and federal reviews, health care, health insurance, and various other quality assurance related information |
Communications-
Develops tools, resources, standards, and guidelines to illustrate and promote internally and externally the mission and work of DHS |
Law-
Provides information and forms for various legal procedures and court hearings from both the DHS Court Unit and the HHS Unit of the Law Department |
