Volunteer Services

The Youth Study Center benefits from the involvement of citizens from all cultural and socioeconomic segments of the community. The Volunteer program enables concerned individuals to work with troubled youth both in an advisory capacity and direct services. The Volunteer Services Coordinator, who screens and trains applicants and defines the terms of the volunteer’s service, administers the program. Volunteers are recruited through formal and informal presentations, media advertisements and by communications to religious and civic organizations and the general public. Existing guidelines regulate volunteer behavior and performance and allow for the termination of volunteers with just cause. If you are interested in volunteering at the YSC, please contact Leroy Simon at (215) 686-4879.
